The ETL Informatica Developer is responsible for the development, enhancement and effective operations of data movement between various systems using ETL methodologies for our financial client. As an ETL Informatica Developer to analyze data from client online transaction platform (SITE/STM), developing Informatica workflows to apply complex business logic on the sourced data for the client inhouse project financial Transformations, which owns and manages all many data layers through which the data sourced from STM/SITE, processed, and delivered to Accounting, Reconciling and Reporting.

Responsibilities:

• ETL Informatica Developer must perform the following job duties:
• Understand the business needs and design mappings/workflows to meet the complex business requirements.
• Provide estimates for work needed to be performed to fulfil the business requirements.
• Create high level and detailed level design documents with all the necessary details for the implementation of ETL jobs.
• Implement data warehouse solutions using Informatica by creating data models and troubleshooting performance issues for customizing and tuning ETL jobs.
• Create and update Informatica mappings, sessions and workflows as per design document. • Create database objects like tables, views, indexes and stored Procedures in Oracle, SAP HANA.
• Extract and analyze data, patterns and related trends from different sources like Oracle, SAP HANA, Hadoop, flat files as per business requirement.
• Create UNIX shell scripts to read and load data from flat files into HANA tables and send alerts on completion of ETL loads.
• Ensure the quality of the business logic with thorough UAT and Regression.

Use back-end programming languages PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript. Use advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS. Understand of server-side languages including Jade, EJS, ReactJS. Work with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications. Primary worksite is Wauwatosa, WI, but relocation is possible.
